About this site

In today’s age, we keep getting bombarded with tips and tricks, motivational quotes, guidebooks, etc. on how to be a good leader, how to build a happy and inclusive work culture, how to be customer-centric, how to balance our work and life, how to build agile processes, how to be fearless and speak up. However, there is always another side to being an ideal leader in a happy workplace with a perfect work-life balance running a world-class organization. Over the coming months, please watch this space for snippets, articles, podcasts, etc. on my personal experience with this other side over the past couple of decades. And while I put across my point of view, I would love to know yours. I would love to be challenged, and know your side – the other side.

The Other Side of my Sports Life

People who know me well also know that I am not much into sports. The only games that I play are running for dear life and hanging in there. But nevertheless, from whatever little sporting activity I have been involved in – badminton, chess, cricket, paragliding, skipping, swimming, snorkeling, rafting, rappelling, running, table tennis, walking,

The Other Side of a Soft Landing

The other side of starting your career in a small firm, be it a start-up, an agency, or even the service industry, is the opportunity that you get to do everything. Such companies put the onus on the business owners to run their respective businesses as their own. While on the one hand, they are

The Other Side of Community Dogs

It’s more than a decade now since I, along with my sister, started feeding community dogs. It all started with one – Mystique (Mishtu in short) – who mysteriously disappeared one fine day; but what stayed with us was the phenomenal feeling of inner peace that comes out of spreading selfless love amongst these voiceless
